Texas Statewide Eagle Scout Recommitment Ceremony and Gathering of Eagles

Eagle Scout Alumni from across Texas are invited to a Statewide Eagle Scout Alumni Recommitment Ceremony and Gathering of Eagles beginning at 9:40 am on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Texas State Capitol Building in Austin. This Gathering of Eagle Scout Alumni coincides with the annual Scouting Report to the State of Texas. (http://www.bsacac.org/report_to_state.php)

The Eagle Scout Recommitment Ceremony will begin on the south steps of the Texas Capitol at 9:40 am, followed by the Gathering of Eagles in the Capitol Building Agricultural Museum, Room 1W.14, on the first floor, west wing of Capitol, directly downstairs from the House Chambers beginning at 10:20 am. The official Scouting Report to State will begin in the Texas House Chambers at 10:40 am.

Eagle Scout Alumni of all ages and from all corners of Texas are invited to attend this Recommitment Ceremony and Eagle Gathering. This annual event is the only opportunity for all Eagle Scout Alumni in Texas to join together for networking, reconnect with Scouting and recommit to the lifelong values of the Scout Oath and Law. Scout uniform is NOT required attire. Eagle alumni are encouraged to wear their Eagle award to show commitment to the ideals of Scouting.
